Permafrost Wiki is an independent, fan-run guide and news companion for Permafrost, the frozen-Earth survival game from SpaceRocket Games, published by Toplitz Productions. We started early, well before the game's August 21, 2026 Early Access launch, so that the moment you set out into the cold there is an accurate, well-organised resource waiting for you.

How we work

Everything here is written by people who love survival games. We draw on the official Steam page, developer trailers and interviews, the publisher's announcements and reputable reporting, and we always say when something is confirmed versus still expected or community-reported. The game is in active development, so we revise pages as new details land. Where a system is not yet public, such as the full biome map, we say so plainly rather than inventing specifics.

Images and media

We use official screenshots, key art and trailer stills for the purpose of identification, illustration and commentary, which we believe is fair use for a non-commercial fan reference. Some illustrations and background art are created originally for the wiki in the spirit of the game's frozen aesthetic. All official imagery, trademarks and the game itself remain the property of their respective owners.
